Live Performances

JazzMAD London specialises in authentic swing & jazz-age dances. Our shows are high energy and uplifting, capturing all the spirit and joy of jazz music. See one of our ticketed shows or hire us to entertain guests at your event.

Though we often dance to the recorded music of the legendary swing greats, we also specialise in live music collaborations. There is nothing more exciting to witness than a company of dancers swinging out to a roaring live jazz orchestra. If you are looking for a jazz band for your event, we can recommend a band and together create a bespoke floorshow for your event to suit your unique entertainment needs.

Follow Me: a Celebration of Women & Jazz Dance, 27 January 2018 (SOLD OUT)

Follow Me

Follow Me was a live show performed by Sharon Davis, Cat Foley and Nancy Hitzig on 27th January 2018 at the Rag Factory. This was an intimate showcase of new dance works. Featuring Jazz Roots, Lindy Hop, Burlesque and Improv, it was a night of celebration and exploration. The title of the evening – Follow Me – refers to the leader/follower roles in swing dancing. Nancy, Cat and Sharon are professional swing dance “Followers”, but also choreographers, solo performers and creative entrepreneurs. This showcase aims to highlight the creative agency of the Follower in a dance and community that has traditionally been heavily Leader-biased. “What began as a dream to explore our own movement and artistic voice, has become something bigger. We will be sharing both new and beloved work that celebrates jazz, rhythm and the female body. Come cheer and reflect with us as we develop new pieces and put on a show!”
