Intensive Option: Short Courses
Choose our short courses if you like structured, progressive learning! Choose from:
- Swing Dance Beginners: 12-week course
- Swing Dance Improvers: 12-week course
- Balboa Intro for Lindy Hoppers: 6-week course
Our 12-week Beginners and Improvers swing dance programs have been created by world champion Sharon Davis for the best possible introduction to the fundamentals of swing dancing. These courses are totally unique: with 90 minute classes, a thoughtfully structured curriculum learning both roles of the dance, and lots of supporting materials including a course handbook, videos and weekly emails.
Flexible Option: Drop-In Classes
The Wednesday Club is an evening of drop-in swing dance classes at the beautiful Stern Hall in Marble Arch, taught by internationally acclaimed instructors Josh Harvey-Gomez and Sharon Davis. They teach the original swing dance from the 1930s and 40s, the Lindy Hop. Both Josh and Sharon had the honour of studying Lindy Hop with original legends and creators of this dance, so they offer a uniquely authentic way to learn swing dance. The Wednesday Club offers four levels starting from Absolute Beginners through to Advanced. You do not need a partner to attend. No pre-booking is required, just show up and pay at the door. These are drop-in classes (not courses) so you can start any time, take the classes in any order and drop in whenever you want!
